Ever wondered how to send executive files over gmail!! Then you are in the right place.
The easiest solution to this problem is
> Go to Organize option (in windows 7) and click on 'Folder and Search Options'
> Click on View and uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types'.
> Change the extension of the file, which you want to send, from *.exe to *.txt
> Attach the file to the Gmail and send it to the receiver
> Ask the receiver to change the extension back to *.exe from *.txt
