Google Search Operators – Easy Way to Get Accurate Result From Google

Google is worldwide used search engine.From time to time Google introduces new services and techniques to make the web better.Most popular service of Google is its search engine.You can search almost anything on web using Google.When you search for a particular query in Google, it displays a huge number of results.Many of these are not relevant to your query.Google search operators made it easy for you to get more accurate results.

Google is trying its best to show you accurate results but sometimes webmaster optimize their webpages for a particular keyword so much that Google have to show those links first in search result.Below is a list of Google search operators and their use, which will help you to get most from search engine giant.

List Of Google Search Operators

allinanchor:
If  your query start with allinanchor: than Google will restrict the result to show only those pages which contains the query term in anchor text (links). For example : if you search with term allinanchor:technology blog, than it will display only those pages which contains links with anchor text “technology” and “blog”.
allintitle:
If  your query start with allintitle: than Google will restrict the result to show only those pages which contains the query term in title of page. For example :Query ” allintitle:technology blog ” will display only those pages whose title contains  “technology” and “blog”.
allintext:
If  your query start with allintext: than Google will restrict the result to show only those pages which contains the query term in content of page. For example : term “allintext:technology blog” returns pages whose content contains  “technology” and “blog”.
allinurl:
If  your query start with allinurl: than Google will restrict the result to show only those pages whose URL (link) contains the query term. For example : search term “allinurl:technology blog” will display only those pages whose URL contains  “technology” and “blog” words.
cache:
Search query starting with cache: will show you Google’s cached copy of a webpage.Please note that this  search operator works only for link and not for keywords.Google store the webpage when it crawls that website.It shows cached version of that webpage with this search operator.For example searching Google for  “cache:www.technomi.com” will return cached homepage of Technomi when Google last crawled it.Please note that there should be no space between search operator and link.
filetype:  or  ext:
This operator is helpful in searching web for particular file types. This search operator returns pages whose name ends in suffix.If you want to search for PDF files with name technology blog than your query should be  “technology blog filetype:pdf” . It will display webpages containing .pdf (acrobat reader format) file with keyword technology blog in name.Similarly you can search files with extension .doc (MS word files). To search both type of files (PDF and DOC) you can use “OR” operator.AN example of such query is “technology blog filetype:pdf OR filetype:doc”
ext: operator works same as filetype.
define:
When you start your query with “define:” than it shows a definition of your query on top and then result from other websites.This is very useful Google search operator to find definition, antonyms and synonyms of a word or phrase.For example : define:blog will show you definition of blogs on top.
inanchor:
Search query including inanchor: will show result that contains query term in anchor text or links to page.For example,query  “technology inanchor:technomi” will return only those pages whose content contains  “technology” and  text on links contains word “technomi”.
info: or id:
The query info:URL or id:URL will show you the information about corresponding webpage.For example,searching for “info:technomi.com” will display information about technomi.com.
movie:
This query is useful for movie lover.When you search for query “movie:city name” , it display a list of movies currently being shown in your city.It will also shows a list of movies running in nearby cities.For example:searching for query “movie:delhi” will give you name of movies running in multiplexes of Delhi.
related:
The query related:URL will list webpages similar to your query.For example,  query “related:google.com” will display a list search engines.
site:
If you want to search a particular site with the help of Google than this query will help you.For example when you search “technology site:technomi.com” it will show you results for technology (keyword that you searched) only from technomi.com.
weather:
As the name suggest ,this query is used to get current weather report of a city.Enter the name of city after keyword “weather:” and you will get weather report of that city on Google.For example, search query “weather:Delhi” will show you weather report of  Delhi.
link:
Query link:URL will show you pages that point to that URL.For example,search query “link:www.technomi.com” will show you pages that contains link Technomi’s homepage
