Increase StartUp Speed in Windows 7...!!!

Hi Friends,
Nowadays most of you are using Windows 7 as it is the latest version of Windows launched by Microsoft. Though it is better than the previous versions of Windows like Windows Vista or Windows Xp both in speed and performance. But still its start up speed can be increased. So today i am back with an awesome trick for Windows 7 users. If you think you use a lot of applications and because of that your start up speed is slow you can use this trick to increase your start up speed by enabling Boot-only fetching feature. Follow the steps given below to increase your start up speed ↓↓

  • Go to Start Menu
  • Go to Run and type regedit and press enter
  • Now Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  • Expand System→Current Control Set→Control→Session Manager→Memory Management→Prefetch Parameters
  • Now on the right side double click on Enable Superfetch
  • Now a sub window will open. Change the value from 3 to 2 and click Ok
  • Exit the registry Editor and restart you computer for the changes to be applied
  • Next time when you will turn on your computer the prefetcher will reserve more resources to the booting process instead of booting and application launching
This trick is 100% working and personally tested by me and if you have any problem feel free to comment and ask. Enjoy..!!!
