Not interested in facebook anymore?? Or facing troubles with FB?? Then there are 2 different options you got - deactivating your account or deleting it. They are often confused for being same but, in practice, they are different.

Let's get started with DEACTIVATING YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

Deactivating  account means you are making your facebook  account inactive. In this process your facebook time line is not visible to others, however messages you send are still visible. You can call deactivating your account as deleting your account temporarily. You can find deactivate url in  your facebook account by going into account settings and then you will find security on left corner as shown in picture below


Deactivating accont helps again regain access to your account by just logging in.

Delete your account permanently

In order to delete your facebook account permanently, you should request it in the help center of facebook.
Once you search for "deleting fb account permanently" in the help center, you get the result "How do I permanently delete my account?" Simply follow the instructions.

Dont login into facebook  for 2 weeks if you really want to delete your facebook account.
